Along the Alley of Oaks
Swift-Coles Historic Home is a a wedding venue and historic site located in Bon Secour, Alabama where Schoolhouse Creek runs into
Bon Secour River. Originally built by local
Creole fisherman, Thomas Gavin, this property dates back to 1882. Although there aren't any photos of the original four room dog-trot style cabin it once was there are multiple live oaks that mark the site of the original setting.
Today Swift-Coles is one of the most notable properties in the heart of south Baldwin County with the sweeping avenue of oaks surrounding the 6,000 square foot Tidewater Mansion that was completed in 1908 by the Swift Family.

Swift-Coles will be the starting place of many new adventures, whether guests enjoy the property as a wedding venue or if they enjoy a historical
tour of this beautiful home.
